- אָהֳלָאch. = h. אֹהֶל tent, sheet. Targ. Y. Num. 12:12 (Var. אֳהִילָא, אָהֵילָא). Bets.30b קא סתר א׳ he breaks the tent up (by removing portions of the cover). Ib. 32b; a. fr.Pl. אָהֳלֵי. Sabb.137b אוסופי extending the spread sheets (by opening a door or window over which they were spread).
